The Florida Federation of Young Republicans (FFYR) held their Annual Convention & Awards Dinner on June 3rd 2006 in Boca Raton, FL. At the conventiony, several candidates made appearances and spoke throughout the day, including Tom Lee, Randy Johnson, Joe Negron and Peter Monroe. Senator Mike Haridopolos was the main speaker for the awards dinner.

The FFYR also held its annual officer elections at the convention, in which Team Goberville was victorious in winning the elections. A straw poll was also taken at the convention, with some surprising results, which you can find posted at the FFYR's website.
